Directions To Cottonwood Inn/ From Albuquerque/driving Time / Two And One-half Hours From Albuqueque Airport And One And One-half Hours From Santa Fe Plaza Area// Take I-25 North To Santa Fe. Exit I-25 At St. Francis Drive. Follow The /taos/ Signs North. After You Depart Santa Fe, Do Not Turn Off The Main Road, Even Though The Highway Number Changes /it Is Hwy 84/285 Santa Fe To Espanola, Where It Changes To Hwy 68/ And The Number Changes To Hwy 64 In The Middle Of Taos/. When You Reach Taos, Proceed North All The Way Through Town On The Main Road. About 4 Miles North Of The Plaza You Will Come To A Major Signalized Intersection Which Is The Intersection Of Highways 64, 522 And 150. As A Landmark, A Texaco Station Will Be On The Left Just Before This Intersection. At The Intersection Of Hwys 64, 522 And 150, Turn Right Onto Hwy 150 /the Taos Ski Valley Road/. From The Intersection, Proceed On Hwy 150 Exactly 2.5 Miles. At That Point, Turn Left Onto State Route 230 And Take An Immediate Left Into Our Driveway. From The Denver/colorado Springs Area /driving Time /5 Hours From Denver// The Fastest Route /by About An Hour/ Is I-25 To Walsenberg, Then East Onto Hwy 160 Toward Alamosa. When You Get To Fort Garland, Turn Left /south/ Onto Colorado Hwy 159 Which Changes Numbers To 522 At The New Mexico Border. The First Stop Light On 522 Is In Questa. Stay On 522 /another 20 Miles/ Until You Encounter The Next Stop Light Which Is The Intersection Of 522, 64 And 150. Turn Left Onto Hwy 150 And Proceed As Described Above. From Highway 64 East /angel Fire, Cimarron, Amarillo, Etc.// Highway 64 From The East Enters The Center Of Taos By The Plaza. When You Encounter The First Traffic Signal In Taos, Turn Right Onto The Main Drag, Then Proceed North To The Intersection Of Hwys 64, 522 And 150. Turn Right Onto Hwy 150 And Proceed From The Intersection As Described Above. From Highway 64 West /farmington, Chama, Tres Piedras// Travellers On Hwy 64 From The West Will First Encounter The Traffic Signal At The Intersection Of Hwys 64, 522 And 150. At The Signal, Proceed Straight, Which Puts You Onto Hwy 150 /taos Ski Valley Road/. Proceed From The Intersection As Described Above.
